At St Joseph’s Catholic School we completed two large projects to completely refresh their play areas. The bottom area was home to a large tower unit, a small agility trail, timber benches and timber boat and bridge units. These were all removed and replaced with a huge quad tower, a HDPE train unit, a HDPE play boat, recycled plastic benches and a recycled plastic trail. This was then finished off with an artificial grass surface.
The adjacent area had a very rotten timber tower unit which was removed and replaced with a Triple Tower to match the bottom playground and a new artificial grass surface. We then added a range of colourful playground markings including a large number snake and track to give these Key Stage 1 children a range of play opportunities.
